If ye have faith and doubt not...all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.
Why are many Christians often defeated? Because they pray so little. Why do most Christians see so few brought out of darkness to light by their ministry? Because they pray so little. Why are our churches simply not on fire for God? Because there is so little real prayer.
We may be assured of this The secret of all failure is our failure in secret prayer.
This book explores, in depth
- God's wonder at our lack of prayer
- God's incredible promises concerning those who do pray
- God's condition for providing signs
- God's desire for earnest prayer
- God's perspective on hindrances to prayer
The Lord Jesus is as powerful today as ever before. The Lord Jesus is as anxious for men to be saved as ever before. His arm is not shortened that it cannot save, but He does not stretch forth His arm unless we pray more - and more genuinely. Prayer, real prayer, is the noblest, the most sublime, and the most stupendous act that any creature of God can perform. Lord, teach us how to pray.

The Kneeling Christian (Audible Audio Edition) Albert Richardson Liam Robinson Aneko Press Books Reviews
This is an excellent book. It should be a requirement of every Christian to read, along with daily scripture, of course. We seem to be a prayerless generation of "believers". We say we believe but do we really? If we did we'd be praying much more than we do and we'd have answers to our prayers. The bible is filled with invitations to ask and receive. I highly recommend this book.
I downloaded this book free of charge many years ago and it sat in my library for years and years. In 2017 I read it for the first time. And I read it 3 more times that same year. I am finishing up another book right now, but this book is already on my 'next to read list' AGAIN. Do yourself a favor and read this book.
There is so much in this small book. It's almost too much to read in one sitting, I'm sure it can be done but I've got to read and consider and meditate, then do it all over again! Every Christian should read this book.
After reading this book, I have changed many of my thoughts and actions about praying and prayer. I will keep it active on my and try to reread it every 6 months or more. If you are serious about prayer and the power of prayer, I recommend you read it.
It's what we as Christ-followers do. Kneeling is not just a physical action. It's a blessing we enjoy in participation with God's Holy Spirit within each Believer. This kneeling can be done any time, any place we choose to remember our Lord Jesus and worship Him.
Anyone who needs new insight on prayer needs to read this book. The author was so spot on in his scripture references that I would get the Bible out and look them up and he was right about how some of us go about our prayer life so light hearted. Please download this book, you will be glad you did.
I have read many books on prayer--from well-known to obscure authors. I must rank this one among the best. Richardson enumerates several compelling reasons to pray, relates testimonies of answered petitions, and warns of hindrances to our life of prayer. If you're looking for a call to prayer, this is the challenge for you.
